I'm looking for a piece of art of a Goblin character of mine. I have an extraordinarily bad mock-up I did that I'd like it to look like. I'll be paying roughly 6mil for just a sketch and if you colour it to my whim I will pay around 20mil, depending on how I'm feeling on the day ;3

This sounds pretty interesting and I'm all for sketches. I've been trying to do different things, too. Not sure what you mean by Fae, though... would elves count?

Yes, by Fae Denizens I mean fairies, pixies, etc Basically fairytale creatures. I'd love a sketch, if you please :D HERE is my AMAZING drawing of what Gary (yes, Gary the Goblin) should sort of look like. His hat is a Baker Boys Hat, and his little cloth that covers his Goblin bits is just a tatty thing. And his boots are just er... boots? I think, actually, as opposed to what I've draw (quite baggy boots) I'd prefer them to be tight fitting, with no soles, just like little leather socks in a fashion. XDDD I'm so good at this. Okay, so by nature he's malicious, but he actually helps Humans, so although I made him look all 'grrr' he's kind of a sweetie. It'd be cool if you could get his arms and hands, legs and feet to be a bit slimmer and longer, but nothing all 'rawr'. And he's a fatty in the stomach area, despite his thin appendages. Have fun with him, :)

Let me know if you need more. I've never done this before.

Ahh, I see! xD I don't usually think of goblins as Fae, though it did remind me of an old book I read. Uhm I was actually wondering did you want just the lineart and full body or halfbody and such? >.> Annd if you want it colored, do you have a colors in mind already for Gary? :)

aduhasufhvud holy crapola that's sooo cute D: Could I get it coloured? His hat his a deep navy, his tatters and booties are brown, and his body is a kind of green/grey/brown kind of colour. And can I have it full body, please? omg look at hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiim. dgnhdighd You cannot even begin to understand my love for you right now. I'm a writer through and through and my inability to get what's in my head down as a drawing kills me like nothing else and you've just gone and done it T_T Marry me. OH and his hair is black.

Generally, I think the misconception of Goblins is quite varied, but if you delve into the fairytales and such, they are normally of the world of Fae, or Faerie, or whatever you wish to call it. :)

Any color for the eyes? :)

Haha, I also write, but I have to say the gap between my head -->what I can draw is still huge. @@ Mostly these days I've been studying how to do backgrounds and coloring more. xD;; And yep, though sometimes goblins also appear as generic monsters in MMOs... which probably affected my perception a bit. >.> Still, it also reminded me of The Princess and the Goblin, if you're familiar. ^^

A nice, deep dark green for the eyes, I think.

I'm not familiar, unfortunately D: And I know what you mean about the Goblins in MMOs and the like. They're kind of given an orc-ish persona, I think.
